CHELCHELE
Isolated Origin — Ethiopia
Yirgacheffe needs no introduction — but Gedeb, tucked deep in its southern reaches, is where some of Ethiopia's most electric naturals come from. CHELCHELE is named for the washing station at its center, where smallholder farmers from the surrounding Banko Chelchele community bring their carefully harvested cherries. At 2,100 meters above sea level, the altitude here is exceptional, and it shows in every sip.
This is a natural process coffee that leans fully into what Ethiopia does best. Blueberry comes first — bold, jammy, unmistakable — before opening into a wild, almost effervescent fruit punch quality. Gooseberry closes it out with a tart, lingering brightness that keeps you coming back. Espresso-focused and medium roasted, CHELCHELE pulls beautifully as a straight shot — rich, fruit-forward, and alive with complexity.
