At 2,000 meters above sea level, the altitude allows these varieties to thrive, ripening slowly and developing deep sweetness and layered complexity. This washed lot is roasted specifically for espresso, delivering a syrupy, expressive shot. Expect floral aromatics, candy-like sweetness, and a juicy mouthfeel, with notes of maraschino cherry, blackcurrant, and stone fruit - rounded out by a buttery finish and winey acidity.

Gore Dako is one of the newer stations in the Kata Muduga Cooperative, already making a name for itself. Tucked into the southern end of Agaro Gera—alongside celebrated sites like Kolla Bolcha and Biftu Gudina—it’s ideally positioned in some of western Ethiopia’s most prized coffee-growing terrain. This filter-roast lot showcases bright, clean flavors: candied lemon, wildflower honey, and juicy peach. It’s a vivid expression of high elevation and heirloom variety.
